Tuition: $170
Tuition includes all instructional costs.  $25 of the tuition is non-refundable, the full $170 is non-refundable after October 22, 2010.

Admission:
Students in grades 1 through 4 during the 2010-2011 school year are considered for admission.  No single factor decides an applicant’s admission.  All the supporting material is considered.  Minnesota Institute does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, gender, disability, national or ethnic origin in administration of its education policies, admission policies, or financial aid programs.  For more details click on How to Apply.

Application Procedure:
Send MITY the completed application and a copy of most recent report card.   
Send $170 for tuition or a completed Financial Aid Form.  MITY now accepts credit cards. Click on Forms for more information.
Students will be considered for admission when all application information has been received.  Decisions are made on a rolling admission basis.  Acceptance letters are sent in early October.

Financial Aid:
Financial aid for partial tuition is available for students whose family demonstrates financial need.  The financial aid form can be downloaded and printed from the website or call the office 651-696 6590 to request a financial aid form (FAF) be sent to you.

Saturday Schedule
Period 1      9:00 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
Break         10:20 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.
Period 2     10:40 a.m. – Noon

Parent Seminar
An optional information seminar is offered for parents each Saturday from 9:00 am – 10:20 am.  These free seminars are hosted by experts in gifted education and education resources.  Past topics have included: dealing with perfectionism in your child, meeting your gifted student's needs at school, and the social and emotional needs of gifted children.
