An important part of the ExplorSchool experience is the noontime special events and recreation program. Called Super Rec Time by the students, the program helps build friendships and community. When morning classes end, students eat lunch and then break into groups where staff leaders supervise a variety of activities each day.  Super Rec Time activities include chess tournaments, soccer, kickball, board games, charades, paper arts, playground choices, scavenger hunt, hula lessons, craft projects, water balloon games, ultimate Frisbee, and relaxation.  Students choose which activity they would like to attend each day. Students describe Super Rec Time as one of the reasons that ExplorSchool stands out from other programs. We know you will enjoy it too!
