What to Bring:
Students do not need to bring supplies to class. If you are taking the photography class you will want to bring your own camera if you have one. Students should bring a snack and lunch or money to buy lunch at the campus grill (al a carte) or buy lunch in the cafeteria for about $9.00.
Drop-off & Pick-up:
As we approach opening day you will receive a list of classes and their campus location and a campus map with locations for parking or drop-off and pick-up. Parents: please coordinate with your son or daughter a designated pick-up location.
In May you will receive information with a list families, and contact information, who have indicated an interested in carpooling on application form. Families can then contact other families to arrange carpools. The list will be sorted by zip code.
Arrival on day 1:
Students should arrive at 8:30 a.m. on the first day and go directly to the Campus Chapel (#26). There will be a short program for students. Parents are welcome to attend. At the end of the program students will be dismissed by class with their teacher, who will walk them to their classroom. After day 1, students will go directly to their classroom at 8:30 am.
Last Day of the Session:
On the 2nd Friday, the last day, there will be performances and a final assembly that will end at 2:00 p.m. Students are dismissed at that time. More details about the last day will be sent home during the session.
At the end of each session students will receive an evaluation from their teacher. This evaluation will be sent to your home address.
All students must submit a completed and signed Health form before the start of the program. The completed forms can be mailed, faxed or scanned and emailed. I hope your son/daughter has a memorable and inspiring experience at MITY.
